Environmental Activities

As part of our programmes we offer a wide range of environmental activities including the Youth Hostel Association’s Green Shoots Programme.

Green Shoots (KS 2,3 & 4) includes activities and games covering Sustainability, Food and Biodiversity, Waste and Transport.

Our other activities include rural crafts, sustainable technology, food production, farming, wildlife and conservation.

At Ffynnon Wen we grow our own vegetables and we are always happy for some help in the kitchen garden. We also keep a number of animals including geese, hens and pigs.
