Ffynnon Wen Artists: Kate Price

Kate Price is a director of Canolfan Ffynnon Wen with over fifteen years’ experience in community arts and environmental education.

Kate specializes in mosaics and has undertaken projects for Stoke City Council, Groundwork Stoke on Trent, Groundwork Wrexham, Esso Petroleum, Flintshire Community Wildlife Trust, Flintshire County Council, Chester City Council and Blacon Neighbourhood Management.

Kate has spent the past three years developing Canolfan Ffynnon Wen to promote children’s involvement in the arts believing that art has the capacity to transform lives allowing young people to explore their world and their observations, thoughts and feelings concerning their environment in a very special way.
